Dear Members of Lexington Height Inc.

This letter is being sent to all members of Lexington Heights Inc. A motion was made at the July 21, 2021, meeting to increase the annual dues on improved property from $125.00 to $200.00 and on vacant property from $50.00 to $75.00. This motion was voted on and passed by the members present. Our Association has not had a dues increase since 1985. The annual dues are used to pay for weekly trash pick-up, parkway and clubhouse mowing and maintenance which includes replacing posts along Lakeview and maintenance and repairs to the clubhouse and playground and equipment, stairs and bench maintenance and installation, bluff restoration, yearly removal, installation and repairs to the boat ramp, jetty repairs, insurance(s), attorney, and accountant fees and hosting the annual Corn Roast, Children’s Parade, and other sponsored events.

To approve an increase in the dues, the law requires that a majority of the deed holders of Lexington Heights vote. Please note that only actual members of Lexington Heights Inc. are allowed to vote. Voters names must be listed on the deed of the property(s) located in Lexington Heights. If there are multiple deed holders listed on the deed, each owner is entitled to a vote. If you own multiple properties, you are only allowed ONE VOTE.
